Hit and Run on Rte 30

On 8/11/2012 the Springettsbury Township Police Department responded to Rte 30 Eastbound in the area of North Hills Road for a reported hit and run.  Upon arrival the officer was advised that a box truck had struck the  front of the victim’s vehicle as he was traveling on Rte 30.  The operator of the box truck failed to stop at the scene.  The truck was later stopped on Rte 30 by the Wrightsville where the driver was identified.  Charges are to be filed.
