Theft from a vehicle

On 8/14/2012 the Springettsbury Township Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Village Green Shopping Center in the 2300 block of East Market Street for a reported theft from a vehicle.  Upon arrival officers learned that the victim parked his vehicle in the lot and locked it.  Approximately 30 minutes later when he returned he found that the rear window had been smashed out.  The victim reported that several thousand dollars in power tools and a firearm were taken.  Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to contact the Springettsbury Township Police Department at 717-757-3525.
