Six year old struck by a vehicle

On Thursday, September 20,2012 at 4:14 pm, the Springettsbury Township Police Department was dispatched to the 1200 block of Haines Road for a reported crash involving a juvenile pedestrian.  Investigation of the crash revealed that a six-year-old male was crossing the roadway traveling west in the 1200 block of Haines Road.  He was struck in the southbound lane by a 2010 GMC Canyon pick-up truck traveling southbound.  The juvenile was transported to York Hospital for injuries he sustained in the crash.

At this time there have been no charges filed in this incident.
