DUI Crash in the parking lot of Wal-Mart

On Friday 9/21/2012 at 3:24 am police were called to the parking lot of Wal-Mart in the 2800 block of East Market Street for a reported motor vehicle crash.  Upon police arrival it was revealed that a vehicle driven by a male struck a parked car in the parking lot.  Investigation revealed that the operator of the striking vehicle was to be under the influence of illegal drugs.  He was taken into custody and transported to Memorial Hospital for a blood test.  Once the results of that test are received charges will be filed in this case.
