Robbery/Retail Theft at the Bon-Ton

On Sunday 9/23/2012 at 4 pm members of the Springettsbury Township Police Department were dispatched to the Bon-ton in the 2800 block of Whiteford Road for a reported Retail Theft.  It was reported that several suspects were fleeing the store with stolen merchandise.  Upon arrival of the officers, the suspects were located in the wooded area near the store and taken into custody.  Investigation revealed that the two suspects selected merchandise from the store and then forcibly removed it from store employees before fleeing into the parking lot.  None of the merchandise was paid for.  Aury Hernandez-Morel of York was transported to the York County Central Booking Facility to be arraigned on the charges of Robbery, Retail Theft, and Harassment.  A juvenile, also involved, will be charged on a later date.
