Chief Thomas Hyers is pleased to announce that Corporal Gregory Hadfield was selected by the Pennsylvania Driving Under The Influence (DUI) Association as a 2012 DUI-Top Gun Award winner. The DUI-Top Gun Award was developed to recognize and thank police officers for their outstanding efforts in reducing the threat of impaired drivers on our roadways. Corporal Hadfield was selected based on his activity and commitment to apprehending DUI offenders within Springettsbury Township. Hadfield will be recognized by the Pennsylvania DUI Association during an awards banquet on November 1, 2012 at Penn State University.
Chief Hyers states “while the Pennsylvania DUI Association chose to only recognize Corporal Hadfield at this time, I would like to acknowledge Patrol Officers Jennifer Kennedy, Cory Landis, Chad Moyer and William Polizzotto, respectively, whose names were also submitted for consideration of this award based on their outstanding efforts regarding DUI enforcement.”
