Between 10/21/2012 and 10/25/2012 the Springettsbury Township Police were called to Wal-Mart on East Market Street for 8 separate incidents of retail theft.  On Sunday 10/21/2012 shortly after 2am an unknown female entered the store and selected $96.51 worth of clothing and cosmetics products and then fled the store without paying.  The white female fled the area in an unknown make and model sedan.

On Sunday 10/21/2012 just after 5 am it was reported that an unknown male selected three Matchbox cars from their display and then left the store without paying.  No suspect information is available for this incident.

On Sunday 10/21/2012 at 3:45 pm police were again called to Wal-mart for a reported retail theft.  Investigation into this incident revealed that an unknown male attempted to flee the store with 3 DVDs valued at $57.88.  When he was approached by employees he dropped the merchandise and ran into the parking.  Upon police arrival he was not able to be located.

On Tuesday 10/23/2012 at 4pm Wal-mart loss prevention called to advise that they had a male subject in custody for retail theft.  Upon arrival it was reported that George Williams of York removed automotive accessories valued at $194.94 from their display and then left the store without paying.  He was charged with retail theft.

On Wednesday 10/24/2012 at 11:50 am police were called to investigate another theft where a male removed automotive accessories.  This time $359.64 worth of merchandise was taken before the male left the store.  Wal-Mart loss prevention officers recognized the suspect from a previous theft and provided this information to the responding officer.  Charges will be filed.

On Wednesday 10/24/2012 at 5pm it was reported to Police that a male selected a knife from its display and failed to pay for it as he left the store.  Store security escorted the male back int the store and called police.  Upon arrival police took Robert Kozacheson Jr. into custody for retail theft and then transported him to the York County Central Booking facility to be arraigned on the charges.

On Thursday 10/25/2012 at 1:30 pm it was reported that a male stole two pair of Levi jeans from the store.  Suspect information was developed and charges will be filed.

Police also responded at 10:08 pm on Thursday 10/25/2012 for another reported theft.  Upon arrival investigation revealed that Joy Davenport of York stole a bed comforter valued at $49.88.  She was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released at the scene.
