Hit and Run leads to drug arrest.

On 1/6/2013 police were called to the intersection of Rte 30 and North Sherman Street for a reported hit and run.  Upon arrival the victim reported that a vehicle struck his vehicle and then fled east on Rte 30.  The vehicle was subsequently stopped in Hellam Township and the operator was found to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and upon receipt of those results charges will be filed.
