On Sunday 2/10/2013 at 3:30 pm police and EMS responded to the intersection of Haines Road and Mount Rose Ave to assist a motorist that was in medical distress. Once on scene officers began directing traffic around the area while EMS personnel tended to the motorist. While directing traffic a male driver, later identified as Daniel Royer of Springettsbury, became irate with police and began to yell and scream. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and contact was made with Royer. Royer continued to yell and scream at officers causing a disturbance and preventing them from directing traffic. He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to the York County Central Booking facility.
