On Friday 3/1/2013 at 5:20 pm police were called to the Wal-Mart in the 2800 block of East Market Street for a reported retail theft. Upon arrival it was reported that a female removed five bottles of perfume from the store without paying for them. Denise Mitchell of York was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released at the scene.
On Saturday 3/2/2013 at 1:25 pm police were called to the Giant Food Store in the 2400 block of East Market Street for a reported retail theft. It was reported that a male removed a DVD from the store without paying for it. Jerry Krizek of York was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released at the scene.
On Thursday 3/7/2013 at 1:29 pm police were again called to the Giant Food Store on East Market Street for a reported retail theft. It was reported that a female removed several hair care products and a magazine from the store without paying for them. She was taken into custody and transported to the York County Central Booking facility where she was arraigned on the charge of retail theft.
