On 4/16/2013 at 9:47pm the Springettsbury Township Police Department was called to the Budget Host Inn at 1162 Haines Road for a reported fire. Investigation revealed that a fire was intentionally lit in the second floor attic area of the Inn.
On 4/17/2013 at 8:47am Police were again called to the Budget Host Inn for a reported fire. Again the investigation revealed that the fire was intentionally set in the same location as the previous fire.
Alex Rasovsky (51) of York was located at the scene of the fire and was subsequently charged with:
10 Counts of Arson, 2 Counts of Causing or Risking a Catastrophe, and 2 Counts of Reckless Endangering.
He was transported to the York County Central Booking facility to be arraigned on the charges.
