Tractor Trailer Crash

  On 5/15/2013 at 1230 AM the Springettsbury Township Police were called to a crash on Rte Westbound just east of the Mount Zion Road exit.  Upon arrival it was determined that a fully loaded 53 foot tractor-trailer had left the north side of the roadway and collided with several trees.  The truck, operated by Erit Camacho-Gordis of Lancaster, PA, came to rest adjacent to the York Technical Institute property.  Due to the location of the truck it was not able to be removed until 8am on the 15th.  The driver was transported to York Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the crash.  At this point it appears to be a single vehicle crash, however police are still investigating.  Anyone that may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Springettsbury Police at 717-757-3525.
