On Saturday September 21, 2013 at 7:58AM the Springettsbury Township Police Department were called to the Metro Bank, 1098 Haines Road, for a reported armed robbery. A male subject wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask and sunglasses, entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The male was described as being 5’08 with a medium build. He fled the bank on foot in a south direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
