School Drill Follow-up

As a follow-up to the October 11 Active Shooter Drill at Central York High School, Police Chief Thomas Hyers hosted 44 of the key stakeholders from the drill , including first responders and school administrators, in a formal De-briefing session. “Lessons Learned and Next Steps” were the focus of the discussion. The group of key York County Public Safety and School Administration leaders will continue to work closely together  in coordinating response strategies and conducting full-scale exercises throughout York County in the future.
