Daily Crime Log- March 11, 2014

Access Device Fraud- 2251 Eastern Blvd.

Received information regarding access device fraud which occurred at Keller Williams Keystone Realty located at 2251 Eastern Blvd.  A former employee of the company has used a company credit card to make unauthorized purchases.

Theft of Gas- Turkey Hill, 3690 East Market Street

Responded to the Turkey Hill for a reported theft of gas.  Upon arrival the actor was identified and taken into custody for outstanding warrants.  He was taken to York County Prison. His vehicle was towed from the scene for multiple traffic violations.  Charges to be filed for retail theft and traffic violations.

Retail Theft- Walgreens, 2350 East Market Street

Police responded to Walgreen’s for a report of a retail theft report.  Upon arrival, the complainant reported a white female removed two cans of baby formula and left the store without paying for the items.  She fled in a white Toyota Scion south on Haines Rd.

Retail Theft- Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to WalMart for a report of a retail theft. Further investigation revealed a male selected and concealed a 16 pc tool set, valued at $17.88. The male then left the store without paying for the item.  Charges to be filed.

Retail Theft- Gabriel Brothers, 1226 Greensprings Drive

Responded to Gabriel Brothers at 1226 Greensprings Dr. for a report of a female in custody for retail theft.  Upon arrival it was determined the female took $250.74 worth of merchandise and exited the store without paying for same.  She was released at the scene and charges are pending.

Theft- 1901 East Market Street

Responded to the above location for a theft.  Upon arrival, the stolen items were located in the suspect’s apartment.  Prosecution was declined by the victim.
