DUI- Haines Road at East Market Street

Traffic stop was conducted on Haines Rd. at E. Market St.  The driver was found to have operated his vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.  He was  taken to booking for testing and processing.

Hit and Run- Eden Road at Maple Crest Blvd.

Responded to 2135 Eden Rd. for a hit & run report.  On scene met with the complainant.  He advised that around 0630 hrs. on 3/26/14 an unknown vehicle struck his truck while his truck was parked along Eden Rd.  Pitts advised that the driver of the striking vehicle left the scene and never provided any information.

Theft- 62 Camelot Arms

The complainant advised that yesterday a UPS package was taken from the porch of his residence.

Access Device Fraud- 1639 Long Drive

Victims debit card was used to make unauthorized purchases online.  Investigation continues.

Identity Theft- 560 Cortleigh Drive

Victims identity was used to file a false IRS tax return.  Investigation continues.

Retail Theft- Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Received information regarding a previous retail theft that occurred at Wal-Mart, 2801 E. Market St.  Complainant advised that the actor from a previous retail theft had been identified after a recent retail theft where he was apprehended.  Information was obtained and charges to be filed.

Theft- Whiteford Road at Memory Lane

On the above date and time, while on patrol in the area of Whiteford Rd and Memory Ln Ext,   two male subjects  were observed attempting to put a 10 foot section of steal guardrail into a vehicle. Charges to be filed.

Possession of Heroin-Mr. Car Wash, 2720 East Market Street

On the above date and time, Police responded to Mr. Car Wash, on E Market St, for a report of a drug violation. Further investigation revealed a male was in possession of Heroin and drug paraphernalia.  Charges to be filed.

Retail Theft- Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On the above date, while investigating a drug violation in the parking lot of Red Lobster, Police located three stolen items taken from Wal-Mart. Further investigation revealed a male, selected and concealed three items valued at $33.89, and removed the items from the store without paying for the merchandise.  Charges to be filed.

Theft- Rutters, 1450 Mount Zion Road

Responded to the Rutters, 1450 Mt. Zion Rd. for a theft report.  Upon arrival  the victim  advised that after getting money from the ATM, someone stole the money.  Information was obtained for further investigation.

Threats- 609 Memory Lane

Responded to Syncreon, 609 Memory Ln. for a threats report.  Upon arrival  the complainant and victim  advised that an employee caused a disturbance after being terminated.  Information was obtained for further investigation.
