Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart for report of a retail theft. Loss prevention officers, reported a male  and female removed merchandise from the store without making payment. Suspects fled the parking lot in a red car. A registration was provided for the vehicle. Investigation to continue.

Theft-Strausbaugh’s Garage, 1680 Whiteford Road

Responded to Strausbaugh’s for report of a theft. The complainant advised that  overnight unknown person(s) removed various scrap metal from the property.

Retail Theft-Giant, 2415 East Market Street

I responded to Giant at 2415 E. Market St. for a retail theft report. Upon arrival the complainant reported that two unknown males took several items and left the store without paying for the same. The suspects fled the area in a white Chevrolet Malibu.

Driving Under the Influence-Route 30 at Eden Road

On the above date and time while on patrol in the township Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Rt 30 and Eden Rd. Investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle was DUI/DUI suspended. Cerrisa Brown of Columbia, PA was was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking to be arraignment for a second offense DUI.

Trespassing-New Eastern Market, 201 Memory Lane

Police observed an unoccupied  tractor trailer truck parked in the parking lot of the New Eastern Market, 201 Memory Lane.  The property is posted with no trespassing sign. I made contact with subject.  The operator, Timothy Rodgers of Cordova, TN was issued a non-traffic citation for trespass and released.

Disorderly Conduct-Social Security Administration, 2670 Industrial Highway

Police responded to the Social Security Administration Building for a report of a female that struck a security guard and was causing a disturbance at the business. Upon arrival it was determined the suspect had caused a disturbance by yelling and screaming. The female, Lois Taylor of York, was cited for disorderly conduct and released.

Hit and Run-Parking lot of Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Police responded to Wal Mart for a reported  hit and run. Upon  arrival, the victim  advised that she observed a vehicle strike her vehicle and then leave the parking lot without stopping. The striking vehicle and driver were located and information was provided to complete an accident report. The victim did not want the driver charged.
