Criminal Mischief- Stonewood Park
Police were called to Stonewood Park for a reported criminal mischief to the pavilion area. Upon arrival it was discovered that unknown persons wrote obscene material on the concrete pavement. Anyone with any information about this is asked to contact STPD.
Counterfeiting-Walmart, 2801 East Market Street
On this date, Police met with the Wal-Mart Asset Protection Manager regarding suspected counterfeit U.S. currency. It was reported that on this date, she was notified by the cash office of suspected counterfeit U.S. currency in the amount $290.00. Investigation is ongoing.
Retail Theft-Walmart, 2801 East Market Street
Police responded to Walmart for a retail theft. Investigation revealed that the suspect had stolen two pairs of shoes valued at $24.83 total. The suspect fled the scene in a black Saturn sedan. Citation to be filed against the suspect for Retail Theft.
DUI Crash
Police responded to the intersection of Haines Rd at Eastern Blvd for a MVA. Upon arrival it was determined operator #1 was intoxicated. The suspect was transported to Central Booking for a BAC test and turned over to booking for processing.
