Daily Crime Log- July 27th, 2014

Criminal Mischief-Wal-Mart, 2801 East market Street

On the above date and time police responded to Walmart for a report of a subject calling 911 and hanging up. Investigation revealed that two individuals got into a domestic and one of the individuals damaged property belonging to the other. Both subjects were taken into custody for active warrants.

Theft-2773 Carnegie Road

Responded to the east parking lot area of Suburban Park Apartments for a report of a theft from a vehicle. Upon arrival made contact with the victim. She advised an unknown subject entered her vehicle and removed property.

Criminal Mischief-3400 Eastern Blvd

Responded to the parking lot of Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd. for a criminal mischief report. On scene met with the complainant. He advised that sometime within the last 24 hours unknown actor(s) sliced two of his car tires while his car was parked in front of building G.

Harassment-Eastern Blvd at South Kershaw Street

Responded to Walgreens, 2350 E. Market St. for an assault victim. On scene found that the victim was punched in the head/face by her boyfriend. Issued non-traffic citation for harassment to Angel Vega Jr. of York.

Terroristic Threats-19 South Rockburn Street

Responded to the above address for a report of a subject threatening his girlfriend. Arrived on scene and took an adult male in custody for terroristic threats. The male, Angel Vega Jr. of York was transported to central booking for arraignment.

Hit and Run-123 North Rockburn Street

On 07/27/2014 at approximately 2310 hours police were dispatched to 123 North Rockburn St for the report of a hit and run. Investigation revealed an unknown vehicle struck the victim’s vehicle and failed to stop and provide information. Investigation to follow.
