Burglary-4002 Old Orchard Road

Responded to 4002 Old Orchard Road for a burglary. The victim advised that sometime overnight, a subject entered his enclosed back porch and stole his Green Mongoose Beast Mountain Bike.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Wal Mart for a retail Theft.  Store Loss Prevention advised they observed a subject select several pieces of merchandise and then leave the store without paying for same.    The subject fled on foot.

Retail Theft-Giant, 2415 East Market Street

Police responded to Giant, 2415 East Market St. for a retail theft report.  Loss prevention  advised that on 07/28/2014 a young male stole a six pack of beer valued at $11.99. Further investigation.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to WalMart for a report of a retail theft. Further investigation revealed a male selected and concealed 12 assorted DVD’s and Video Games, valued at $378.52, and left the store passing all points of sale.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 7/29/2014 at approximately 1708 hours this department was dispatched to Walmart, 2801 E Market St, for a retail theft. The complainant, a loss prevention officer with the store, advised that they had a male suspect in custody for retail theft. Further investigation revealed that the male was with two other males who were taking merchandise from the store. All three suspects were taken into custody and charged for retail theft.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft. While investigating the initial incident, another incident occurred and another subject was taken into custody. That subject, who stole over $500 of merchandise, was taken to Central Booking to be arraigned on misdemeanor retail theft charges.

Robbery-2800 Block of Eastern Blvd

Police responded to the Modernaire Motel to meet with a victim of a robbery that occurred in the 2800 block of Eastern Blvd. The victim advised that  two unknown males punched him in the face and took his cell phone.

Terroristic Threats

Police responded to Walgreen’s for a report of a customer making threats over the phone regarding the filling of a prescription.
