Daily Crime Log- August 18th, 2014

Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East market Street

The victim came to the station today to report that his I-PAD Air was taken from his shopping cart on the above date while he was shopping at Wal-Mart.

Investigation continues.

Burglary-3607 East Market Street

Responded to 3607 E Market St for report of a burglary. Found forced entry to a rear door for the businesses of East York Exxon and Rent-A-Wreck Car Corral. Money and PA Inspection stickers were reported stolen.

Retail Theft-Sam’s Club, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Sam’s Club for a retail theft. Loss prevention advised that on 8/9/14 two suspects removed over $3900 worth of merchandise without making payment.

Motor Vehicle Theft-2955 East Market Street

Met the victim to the rear of D&D Distribution for report of a stolen truck tractor. The victim stated he returned for his truck on this date and found it was gone.

Theft-2899 Whiteford Road

Spoke with the victim via phone who advised that her iPhone S4 was stolen from the Charlotte Rouse store inside the Galleria mall.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Wal-Mart for a retail theft. Upon arrival, one female was cited for summary retail theft and released from the scene.
