Possession of Narcotics-2860 Whiteford Road

While on routine patrol two subjects were found to be in possession of cocaine while inside a vehicle.

Charges to be filed.

Driving Under the Influence-1400 Block of Mount Zion Road

On 8/22/14 at approximately 0229 hours Officers investigated a disturbance in the lot of 1450 Mt. Zion Rd. One subject was arrested for DUI and taken to booking for a blood draw and processing. His vehicle was impounded to the station pending a search warrant.

Hit and Run-100 Memory Lane

Police responded to the 100 block of Memory Ln. for a hit and run report. The victim advised a black pick up truck struck her vehicle and fled the scene.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 08/22/2014 at 1446 hours Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market St for the report of a retail theft. Investigation revealed two female subjects stole merchandise. Investigation continues.

Hit and Run-2415 East Market Street

On 8/22/2014 at 1550 hrs, Police responded to the parking lot of Giant Foods for a hit and run report. Upon arrival, the complainant advised that he parked his 2013 Toyota Camry in the parking lot of Giant at approximately 1500 hrs and when he returned to his vehicle at 1600 hrs, it was found that the front drivers side door had been struck by another vehicle and damaged. Further investigation.

Retail Theft-Wine and Spirits, 2414 Eastern Blvd

I responded to the area of Wine & Spirits for the report of a retail theft that just occurred. Suspect was taken into custody to the rear of Walgreens and later transported to YH by ambulance due to a high level of intoxication.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-541 South Russell Street

Responded to 541 S. Russell St. for a possible drug overdose. Upon our arrival it was determined that a male had overdosed on heroin. Information was obtained and charges to be filed for drug paraphernalia.

Possession of Marijuana/Warrant Service-2525 Eastern Blvd

While on foot patrol in the lot 2525 Eastern Blvd. Police observed subjects inside of a silver Audi. Investigation revealed a passenger was in possession of marijuana, gave a false name and had two robbery warrants out of Lebanon Co.  He was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where the warrant was served.
