Theft from a Motor Vehicle-890 Cortleigh Drive

The victim appeared on station to report a theft from her vehicle. She stated during the overnight hours an unknown subject remove property from said vehicle.

Criminal Mischief-Red Lobster, 2555 East Market Street

Responded to Red Lobster for a vandalism report. Employee advised that the front window was smashed sometime overnight.

Retail Theft-K-Mart, 1094 Haines Road

Responded to K-Mart, 1094 Haines Road, for a report of a retail theft that occurred on 08/24/2014. Complainant reported that a male and female came into the store and removed several DSD Video games from a locked display and left the store.

Theft of Services-Heritage Hills Resort, 2700 Mount Rose Ave

Responded to the Heritage Hills Resort for a customer who had done damage to the facility and who ran up a large bill. The subject departed the facility without paying for the damages or the outstanding bill.

Hit and Run-Sam’s Club, 2801 East Market Street

Police were  dispatched to the business for a report of a hit and run accident. Once on scene the victim advised that an unknown subject had struck her vehicle as it was parked in the lot.

Theft by Deception-Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Road

On 8/26/2014 at approximately 1409 hours this department was dispatched to Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Rd, for a theft by deception. The suspect took a toy from the store valued at $27.99 and returned it for credit on her debit card. Charges to be filed.

Retail Theft-Gabriel Brothers, 1226 Greensprings Drive

On 08/26/2014 at approximately 1925 hours Police were dispatched  to Gabriel Brother’s for a retail theft. Investigation revealed female suspect stole $24.99 dollars worth of shoes.  Charges to be filed.
