Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

While at Wal-Mart on an unrelated call Police were advised of a retail theft in progress. A male juvenile was taken into custody for retail theft. Juvenile cited and released to his adult brother.

Hit and Run-Gabriel Brothers, 1226 Greensprings Drive

On 09/03/14 at 1500 hours Police responded to Gabriel Brothers for a hit and run. Upon arrival information was obtained. The victim parked his undamaged 2004 silver Ford Expedition in the parking lot of Gabriel Brother on 09/03/14 at 0800 hours. On 09/03/14 at 1500 hours Fischer found damage on the passenger side of the Ford. No other damage was found.

Flim Flam/Scam-Chic Fil A, 2801 East Market Street

On 09/03/14 at 1619 hours Police responded to Chick Fil A for a flim flam that occurred on 09/02/14 at 1909 hours. The male actor handed a cashier a $100.00 bill to pay for his meal.  After several exchanges and returns, the male left with $200.00, defrauding Chic Fil A.  Investigation continues.

Hit and Run-Haines Road at East Market Street

Spoke with the victim via phone. Victim advised that her vehicle was struck on the rear bumper by another vehicle while she was stopped in traffic. Victim advised that the striking vehicle fled the scene.

Attempted Burglary-114 Cropthorne Lane

Responded for a report of an attempted burglary to a residence. Investigation revealed that unknown actors attempted to gain access to the victim’s residence through a locked front window utilizing a prying instrument.

Retail Theft-Home Depot, 2905 East Market Street

Police responded to Home Depot at 2905 E. Market St. for a retail theft report. Upon arrival the complainant advised the suspect selected several items and then proceeded to the customer service desk and tried to return items from another store. When he was denied he left the store with the merchandise. Investigation continues.
