Possession of Marijuana-Rte 30 at North Hills Road

Traffic stop was conducted on Route 30 west of N. Hills Rd. for speeding. Investigation led to the discovery that the driver and a passenger were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Charges to follow.

Aggravated Assault-2230 Live Oak Lane

On the above date and time I responded to the above address for a physical domestic. Investigation revealed that the male subject threatened to hurt the female and choked her with both of his hands. The male subject fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Hit and Run-42 North Rockburn Street

Responded to the area of N. Rockburn St and E. Philadelphia St for a report of down wires. Upon arrival spoke with subjects involved and found that the incident was a HIT & RUN. The crash was to have occurred on or about 0530hrs this date. After speaking with individuals in the area the trail of damage and debris was followed onto I83 NB. The striking vehicle was located at the exit ramp of I83 NB and SR30. The subject was contacted and was charged .

Hit and Run-Mount Zion Road at Concord Road

Responded for a report of a hit and run. Investigation revealed that the victim’s vehicle was struck on the rear bumper by the suspect’s vehicle, causing damage to the rear bumper. The suspect fled westbound on SR30. Prosecution was declined by the victim.

Theft-Buddy’s Home Furnishings, 1236 Greensprings Drive

On August 11, 2014, Police responded to Buddy’s Home Furnishings, 1236 Greensprings Drive, for a report of a theft of leased property. Complainant reported a subject leased property and failed to make payments on the property or return same.

Investigation Continues.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Police responded to Walmart, 2801 East Market St. for a retail theft report.  Loss prevention advised they had an adult female in custody for retail theft. Loss prevention advised the female stole eight miscellaneous items valued at $54.95. The suspect was cited on scene for retail theft and released from custody.

Attempted Theft from Auto-2685 Milford Lane

On station, the victim advised sometime between 09/08/14 at 1800 hours and 09/09/14 at 0730 hours, unknown subject(s) entered her vehicle in the driveway and rummaged through it. As of this time, it appears nothing has been stolen.
