Criminal Mischief-2415 East Market Street

Responded to Giant, 2415 E Market St, for report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim reported on two separate occasions he found the passenger side windows of his vehicle tampered with to the point they became non-functional. No known suspects.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Wal-Mart for report of a retail theft. On arrival Wal-Mart LP had a subject in custody for retail theft. Information was forwarded in regards to a w/m also involved.  Investigation ongoing.

Access Device Fruad-2415 East Market Street

On station, Police received a complaint of an access device fraud that occurred at Giant Food Store, 2415 E. Market Street. Complainant reported that unknown person(s) had used his debit card number to make an unauthorized purchase.

Bad Checks-2103 Industrial Highway

On September 10, 2014 Police were dispatched to 2103 Industrial Hwy for the report of a fraudulent check. Further investigation needed.

Access Device Fraud-3611 East Market Street

Received a report via phone that the victim’s credit card number was used at Food Lion to purchase merchandise. Further investigation revealed two suspects, a black male and a white female, purchasing items with the victim’s credit card number. Investigation continues.
