Attempted Theft from Auto-1960 Hawthorne Road

The victim’s vehicle was entered sometime during the overnight hours on 10/06/14 into 10/07/14. The victim’s vehicle, a gray Lincoln Town car, was parked out in his driveway and was unlocked. It does not appear that anything was taken.

Theft from Auto

Police returned a phone call to a victim that lives on Eberts Lane. He had both of his vehicles, a Toyota Tacoma pick up truck and a Toyota Solara, rummaged through. Loose change, under $5.00, was the only thing taken from his vehicles. Both vehicles were unlocked and parked in his drive-way. This occurred between 10/04/14 at 1700 hours and 10/06/14 in the morning hours.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

A retail theft occurred at the Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market St, in Springettsbury Township today, Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 0910 hours. Garry Lee Boyer stole $240.83 worth of merchandise. He was taken into custody for Felony Retail Theft. I transported him to booking and released him to their custody.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On October 8th 2014 at approximately 1334 hours Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market St for a retail theft. Investigation revealed female subject stole baby clothes from the store depriving Wal-Mart the full retail value of $91.44.

Access Device Fraud-JC Penney, 2899 Whiteford Road

Responded to JC Penney for report of access device fraud. The victim reported her credit card was taken from her wallet and used at several stores in the Galleria Mall.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 10/08/14 at 1640 hours Police responded to Wal-Mart for a female in custody for retail theft. Upon arrival information was obtained. Stolen and  was two items offered for sale and value at $189.86.  Charges will be field for this action.

Criminal Mischief-158 South Findlay Street

Police responded to 158 South Findlay St. for a criminal mischief report. The victim advised someone spit on his truck.

Theft-Metro Bank, 1098 Haines Road

Subject deposited a fraudulent check at Metro Bank 1098 Haines Rd. York, PA. 17402 on or about 05/21/14. Subject withdrew funds from the account resulting in a $1,965.25 loss to Metro Bank.

Attempted Theft from Auto-1818 North Sherman Street

Responded to 1818 N. Sherman St. for an attempted theft from vehicle. Upon my arrival  the victim  advised that someone went through her vehicle overnight. The victim advised that at this time she does not believe anything was taken.

Retail Theft-Giant Food Store, 2415 East Market Street

Police responded to Giant, 2415 East Market St. for an active retail theft. The female suspect was stopped by police and we discovered she stole 65 miscellaneous items valued at $603.16. The female was identified and released from custody. Misdemeanor charges to be filed.
