Theft-3508 East Market Street

Responded to Preston Truck Caps, 3570 E. Market St. for a theft report. On scene met with the owner,  who advised that sometime between Sat. 10/11/14 and this date unknown actors(s) stole a utility trailer off the lot.  The trailer was valued at $1995.00

Hit and Run-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Wal Mart for a Hit&Run. Upon arrival made contact with the victim. His unoccupied vehicle was struck in the parking lot. The striking vehicle and operator departed without making contact or leaving the proper information or notification.

Access Device Fraud-Sam’s Club, 2801 East Market Street

The victim reported that her Discover Card was used at Sam’s Club without her authorization.

Theft of a Motor Vehicle-45 North Marshal Street

Responded to 45 N Marshall St for report of a stolen work van. The victim advised the van was running while he was in the residence. Vehicle last seen N on N Rockburn St. The vehicle was later located in York City.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for two shoplifters in custody. On scene met with Walmart loss prevention who advised that the two actors stole $499.20 worth of DVD’s and left the store without paying. One of the actor’s had a traffic warrant out of Northern Regional PD and was transported to booking for warrant service, and the other actor was released. Misdemeanor charges to be filed on both actors.

Hit and Run-3000 Stoneridge Road

Responded to said location for a reported HIT & RUN. Upon arrival made contact with the victim and witnesses. They advised an unknown non descript grey SUV was traveling west on Stoneridge Rd. The vehicle exited the roadway to the south , entering the property of 3000 Stoneridge Rd. The left front and side struck and destroyed the male box on the property and then sideswiped a utility pole. The vehicle entered the roadway again and departed rapidly west on Stoneridge Rd. A check of the area fail to locate the vehicle. No other reports about this incident were received by YCC.

PFA Violation-405 Memory Lane

On October 13th 2014 at approximately 1427 hours Police were dispatched to 405 Memory Ln for the report of a PFA violation. Investigation revealed male subject violated a PFA. Charges to be filed.

Retail Theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Road

Responded to Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Rd. for a retail theft. Upon my arrival  the complainant  advised that unknown subjects stole merchandise, which was recovered, and then fled. Information was obtained for further investigation.

Simple Assault-3205 East Market Street

Responded to Rite Aid, 3300 E. Market St. to meet with the victim of an assault that occurred at Yorkshire Apartments, 3205 E. Market St. Upon my arrival I was advised by the victim that his boyfriend assaulted him at their apartment, so he fled the area. I responded to the apartment complex, made contact with the suspect, and took him into custody for the assault. He was transported to Central Booking and released to the Sheriff’s Dept. to be arraigned.

Hit and Run-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Road

On the above date and time Police were dispatched the York Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Rd for hit and run report. Investigation revealed unknown vehicle struck the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene. Investigation to follow.

Theft-Kohl’s, 2600 Pleasant Valley

I responded to Kohls, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd. for a theft of a cell phone. The victim advised she left her cell phone in a fitting room and when she came back for the phone it was gone. Suspect information was obtained. Further investigation is needed.

Possession of Marijuana-3690 East Market Street

On 10/13/14 at 2230 hours police made contact with two subjects parked at Turkey Hill. Investigation revealed that the one subject possessed marijuana. Charges to follow.
