Weekend Crime Log-October 25th and 26th, 2014

Fleeing and Attempting to Elude Police-East Market Street at North Royal Street

On the above date and time I attempted to stop a vehicle for an illegal U-Turn. The vehicle failed to stop for my audible and visual emergency signals and fled.  The vehicle is a light blue 2002 Ford Windstar.  Anyone with any information about the driver of this vehicle is asked to contact Officer Shapley with the Springettsbury Township Police Department.

Criminal Mischief-Attempted Theft-2905 East Market Street, Parking lot of Home Depot

The complainant reported that a donation bin had been broken into in the parking lot of the Home Depot on E. Market St. The donation bin contains used books.  Investigation continues.

Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On October 25th 2014 at approximately 1549 hours Police were dispatched to Walmart for the report of a theft. The victim left his Samsung Galaxy s4 on a shelf and when he returned it was gone.

Retail Theft-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Road

Police responded to Sears, 2899 Whiteford Rd. for a retail theft. Upon my arrival  the complainant advised that two subjects stole merchandise and fled. Investigation continues.

Hit and Run-Parking lot of Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

I responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a hit and run. Upon my arrival I met with the victim who advised that while he was inside the business his vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot, was struck. Witness and suspect information was obtained for further investigation.
