Bell Socialization Services awards their 2014 Rita Patz Good Neighbor Award to the Springettsbury Township Police Department.
Named after a cherished volunteer and respected Bell Board member, the Rita Patz Good Neighbor award is presented to an individual or group that depicts not only being a neighbor of Bell, but close in association by providing neighborly time and resources to the agency.
The Springettsbury Township Police Department has been called to both Bell’s CHIPP Assisted Living and CHIPP Supported Living residences. Each time, the responding officers have displayed patience above and beyond, even when a client has been extremely delusional. Bell Socialization Services recognized STPD Officers for taking the time to listen to individual client’s needs and, most importantly, listening to their clients. Bell Socialization Services are truly happy to recognize the Springettsbury Township Police Department for being good neighbors.
Bell Socialization provides an environment of support and empowerment where people can improve their quality of living.
Chief Thomas H. Hyers and the members of the Springettsbury Township Police Department thank Dr. Robert Lease Jr. and Bell Socialization for presenting us with this prestigious award.
