Driving Under the Influence- 2700 block of Eastern Blvd.

On 1-15-15 at 0207 hrs. Police observed a vehicle traveling east on E. Market St with flat front tire. A traffic stop was initiated in the parking lot of 2701 Eastern Blvd and it was determined the operator was intoxicated. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking for a BAC test. The suspect was turned over to Central Booking for processing.

Charges are pending.

Theft of  a Motor Vehicle-2218 Eastern Blvd.

Responded to 2218 Eastern Blvd. for a vehicle theft report. On scene met with the victim. He advised that around 0525 hrs. he went outside and started his car (which was parked in his driveway) to let it warm up.   When he returned approximately six minutes later, the vehicle was gone.  The vehicle is a silver Toyota Camry.

Hit and Run-2555 East Market Street

On this date, Thursday, January 15, 2015, at approx. 0920 hours, the victim’s vehicle was struck by a green Saturn, causing damage to both the Saturn and the victim’s vehicle. The driver of the Saturn left the scene without rendering aid or exchanging information. This occurred in the parking lot of the Red Lobster at 2555 East Market St.

Criminal Mischief-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 East Market Street

Responded to Fat Daddys for a criminal mischief report. Schenck reported all four tires on her vehicle were slashed last night while she was at Fat Daddys.

Theft- 1605 Druck Valley Road

On this date, Police responded to Camp Pennwood for a report of theft of copper from a cell tower site. On scene, a representative of American Tower Corporation  reported that at least $20,000.00 worth of copper was stolen from the site sometime between 6/6/2014 and now.   Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to contact the Springettsbury Township Police at 717-757-3525.

Theft-Sprint Store, 2474 East Market Street

Responded for a theft of a cell phone. Investigation revealed that one white male suspect stole an iPhone 6 Plus from the display.

Theft-Dollar Tree, 2801 East Market Street

The victim reported that on 1-15-15 at approximately 1930 hours she left her purse in her shopping cart while at the Dollar Tree at 2801 E. Market St. Upon returning to the store the purse was not found.
