Weekend Crime Log-April 4th and 5th, 2015

Harassment-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Male reported that he was punched in the face by his girlfriend’s friend in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. The suspect left the parking lot on foot heading west. Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspect. Harassment charges to be filed.

Recklessly Endangering-1211 Hillside Court

On April 4th 2015 at 0214 hours Police responded to the area of 1211 Hillside Ct for a report of a domestic related incident. Investigation revealed two subjects got into a physical domestic and during the incident the one subject struck the other with their vehicle.  Charges to be filed.  No reported injuries.

Retail Theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Road

On 4/5/2015 at 1149 hrs, Police responded to Boscovs for a retail theft. Upon arrival, it was found that a female took 6 miscellaneous items valued at $54.96 from display and left without paying for them. The female was identified and issued a Non-Traffic Citation for retail theft.

Counterfeiting-Aroma Buffet, 2801 East Market Street

On April 4, 2015 at 1425 hours Police were dispatched to Aroma Buffet, 2801 E Market St, for the report of the business receiving a fraudulent $100 bill. Investigation revealed that a  male used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase food at the above location.   Investigation is ongoing.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 04/04/15 at 1509 hours Police responded to Wal-Mart located at 2801 East Market St. York, Pa for a female in custody for retail theft. Upon arrival information was obtained. Stolen and recovered were 27 items offered for sale and valued at $72.55. The female was issued a non-traffic citation for this action and released without incident.
