Theft- Maple Donuts, 3455 East Market Street

Responded to Maple Donuts for a theft report. Manager, Beck, reported a male approached the front counter and stole the tip jar money while being waited on.  Investigation continues…

Theft- 600 Memory Lane

On 4/6/2015 at 11:30am  the complainant advised that a trailer belonging to Norfolk Southern has been missing from the parking lot of Butterfly Commons since 1/9/2015. Further investigation

Forgery-First Capital Federal Credit Union, 2105 Industrial Highway

Police responded to First Capital FCU for a male subject attempting to pass a stolen check.  The caller advised that this subject had passed and obtained funds for seven stolen checks between March 23, 2015 and this date. He obtained $910.00 from the credit union.  The subject was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking to be arraigned on forgery charges.

Dog Law-1744 Wallace Street

Police were called to North Hills Rd for a report of a dog bite that occurred in front of 1744 Wallace St. Further investigation revealed that the suspect’s dog, a tan pit bull mix, left the suspect’s property and attached the victim’s dog across the street, causing bite marks and puncture wounds that were bleeding and required surgery. The owner of the pit bull will be cited for a PA Leash Law violation, and the PA Dog Warden was notified.
