Theft-Buddy’s Home Furnishings, 1236 Greensprings Drive

On station, Police received a complaint of theft of leased property that occurred at Buddy’s Home Furnishing, 1236 Greensprings Drive. Complainant reported that a subject leased a laptop computer and failed to pay or return the laptop.

Harassment-Metro Bank Loan Services, 1803 Mount Rose Ave

Police responded to the above address for a harassment report.   The Victim advised that he was injured in an altercation during a meeting.

Theft-2 Jean Lo Way

The victim, Danner, responded to STPD to report that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while parked in her driveway overnight. Danner advised that the windows in her van were left open, and that her vehicle was not damaged. No suspects/leads at this time.

Hit and Run- East Market Street at South Keesey Street

Police responded to the above location for a report of a hit and run. Investigation revealed that an unknown suspect driving a blue Ford Explorer struck the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle and then fled the scene.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Police responded to the WAL MART for a subject detained for Retail Theft. Upon arrival made contact with the subject and the LPO. The subject concealed and departed with $8.93 worth of merchandise. It was found to be a first offense. The subject was cited and released.

Retail Theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Road

On 05/13/15 at 1650 hours Police responded to Boscovs located at 2899 Whiteford Rd. York, Pa for a female in custody for retail theft. Upon arrival information was obtained. Stolen and recovered were 10 clothing items for a total valued of $108.08. The female was released with charges to be filed for the above incident.

Hit and Run- Camp Betty Washington Road at Mount Rose Ave

On May 13, 2015 at 1650 hours Police were dispatched to contact the victim of a hit and run which occurred at Camp Betty Washington Rd at Mt Rose Ave. Investigation continues.

Criminal Mischief to Auto- Rte 30 Westbound at Mount Zion Road

Police responded to SR30 west at SR24 for and unknown problem. Upon arrival contact was made with the complainants. They advised that a subject was erratically driving while they were traveling west. It appeared that the subject became angry because he was unable to pass. While he was adjacent to the complainant’s vehicle he threw and unknown object from his vehicle at the their vehicle.  The object struck the passenger side front windshield, shattering the glass. The subject fled west on SR30. Follow up required.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 5-13-15 at 1917 hours Police were dispatched to Walmart at 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft report. Upon arrival the complainant reported that a w/m attempted to push a cart with merchandise out of the store without paying. When confronted the male fled on foot to a vehicle. All the merchandise was recovered.

Harassment-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Road

Police responded to The Galleria Mall at 2899 Whiteford Rd for a Harassment report. Upon arrival the victims reported that a suspect that is known to them slapped and pushed both victims before fleeing on foot to the bus stop. Investigation continues.
