Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Police were dispatched to the location for an adult male in custody for retail theft. Loss Prevention advised that she had detained a subject for concealing merchandise. Charges are to be filed based on the amount of the theft.

Theft-1793 Whiteford Road

Police were dispatched to Thorton Automotive for a report of stolen/missing property. Once on scene the complainant advised that several registration plates went missing.

Retail Theft-Weis Markets, 2400 East Market Street

Police  responded to Weis Market, 2400 East Market St. for a retail theft report.  Loss prevention advised a female suspect stole 8 bottles of baby formula valued at $123.12. Loss prevention advised they stopped her as she was exiting the store and recovered the stolen merchandise. The female fled in a minivan.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle-Strictly Fitness, 2880 Carol Road

Police responded to Strictly Fitness, 2880 Carol Rd. for a theft report. Upon my arrival the victim  advised that unknown subjects entered her vehicle and stole property from within.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-Greensprings Shopping Center

Police were called to the parking lot of the Greensprings Shopping Center for a report of a stolen vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the case was an Unauthorized Use which had originated in York City. The victim had located her own vehicle prior to calling police, and she was referred to York City PD for further investigation.
