Over the weekend the Springettsbury Township Police Department responded to 51 incidents, investigated 6 crashes and checked on 4 false alarms. In addition, the following crimes were investigated.
Trespassing- Wal-MArt, 2801 East Market Street
While on patrol an officer was flagged down by Wal MArt security. They advised that there was to be a male trespassing. The subject was located and stopped. He was identified by the store’s LPOs. The subject was transported to Central Booking with Trespass charges. York County Probation placed a detainer on the subject for violating his probation agreement.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
Police responded to the area of Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft. While en route , YCC advised that the subjects had fled in a vehicle. Police located and stopped the vehicle, identified the occupants, and obtained information with charges to be filed.
Theft-McDonalds-2899 Whiteford Road
On the above date and time Police responded to McDonalds inside of the York Galleria Mall for a theft report. Upon investigation it was determined that the victim had cash stolen from her purse.
