On Monday August 17th, 2015 the Springettsbury Township Police Department responded to 35 incidents and investigated 3 crashes.  In addition the following crimes were investigated.

Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver-Mundis Mill Road at North Sherman Street

On the above date and time Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle. Upon investigation the driver was arrested for DUI and the passenger, Keith Garner of York, was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana.  Both subjects were transported to Central Booking and released to the Sheriffs Department.

Trespassing-New Eastern Market, 201 Memory Lane

While on patrol an Officer observed a vehicle parked along the north east side of the parking lot. The vehicle was parked in an area that is posted no parking and no trespassing. Rodney Swords of McSherrystown was issued a non-traffic citation for trespassing and released.

Identity Theft-129 Fountain Drive

The victim came on station to make an identity theft report. He advised an unknown person opened up an account using his social security number.

Harassment-1411 East 11th Ave

Police responded to said location for reported physical altercation between housemates. Upon arrival spoke with both parties involved in the altercation. After discussing options both parties declined to pursue charges against each other. Both side agreed to calm down and avoid future confrontations.

Disorderly Conduct- 125 Bridlewood Way

On 8/17/2015 at approximately 1949 hours this department was dispatched to 125 Bridlewood Way Apt A32 for a disturbance. The victim stated a male she knows began arguing and cursing at her. He then peeled a registration sticker off her vehicle and sprayed water on her patio furniture. The male would not come to the door when police tried to make contact with him. He was identified and charges to be filed on him for disorderly conduct.
