On Tuesday August 25th, 2015, STPD officers responded to 32 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Disorderly Conduct- 1131 East 11th Ave

On August 25th 2015 at 0403 hours Police responded to 1131 E 11th Ave for a 911 hang up call. Investigation revealed that the incident was a domestic dispute between the occupants of the residence and one subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Hit and Run-2228 Dixie Drive

Responded to said location for a reported Hit & Run. Upon arrival made contact with the caller. She advised that between said times an unknown vehicle struck and damaged the driver’s side doors of said vehicle. The actor failed to contact her, leave a note , or notify this department that the crash had occurred.

Theft by Deception-2420 Mount Rose Ave

On station, Police received a complaint of theft by deception which occurred at Member’s 1st Federal Credit Union, 2420 Mt. Rose Avenue. Complainant reported that a subject passed a personal check, which was subsequently returned to the credit union by the bank marked “Closed Account”.

Criminal Mischief-2975 Concord Road

Responded to the above location for a reported criminal mischief. Upon arrival The victim advised that while she was inside shopping, an unknown person slashed her passenger side front tire and keyed the passenger side of her vehicle.

Criminal Mischief-2845 Concord Road

While in the parking lot of the York Town Center for another call, the victim approached and advised that an unknown person slashed the passenger side front tire of her vehicle while she was inside shopping.

 

Criminal Mischief-York Mall,2801 East Market Street

Police responded to Walmart on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, for a criminal mischief report.  The victim  advised his vehicle had been keyed on the right front fender and passenger side door. The right front tire had also been slashed. The damage is estimated to be over $500. The victim believed the damage occurred while he was parked in the Walmart parking lot.

Theft-3400 Eastern Blvd.

On 08/25/15 at 1420 hours the victim came on station to report the theft of a hand gun. Stolen from his Apt was a 22 Browning Buckmark 22 Semi Automatic hand gun black in color. This occured between 0715/15 and 07/17/15 this year.

Criminal Mischief-Sam’s Club, 2801 East Market Street

On 08/25/15 at 1505 hours Police responded to Sams Club located at 2801 East Market St. York, Pa for a tire that had been slashed this day while parked in the lot. The vehicle involved is a 2010 Mercedes Benz white in color. This occurred around 1100 hours. The tire is the driver side front tire.

Criminal Mischief-3400 Eastern Blvd

Police responded to Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd. Apt A5 for a domestic dispute. The victim reported his step son smashed his television screen and ran off. Contact was made with the step son. Charges to be filed.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 8/25/2015 at approximately 1615 hours this department was dispatched to Walmart, 2801 E Market St, for a retail theft. The investigation revealed that an adult female stole $89.56 in merchandise from the store and tried to leave. She was released with charges to be filed for her second offense.

 

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft. Upon my arrival the complainant  advised that an unknown subject stole merchandise, but then fled the scene.

Public Drunkenness/Resisting Arrest- 125 Bridlewood Way

Police responded to the above address for a report domestic.  Contact was made with all parties who were subsequently arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
