On Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 STPD Officers responded to 17 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  In addition Officers investigated the following crimes.

Trespassing- New Eastern Market, 201 Memory Lane

While I was on patrol an STPD Officer observed  a truck parked along the north east side of the parking lot.  No one to be with vehicle. To front and side of the vehicle there was a posted no trespassing signs. The operator/ actor was located at McDonald’s. He was cited for trespass and released.

Public Intoxication-3100 Block of East Market Street

An adult male was found sleeping next to a sign in the 3100 block of E. Market St. The male was found to be intoxicated. The male was cited for Public Drunkenness and transported to his residence.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a theft. Walmart loss prevention advised that the actor fled in a black Mazda, and provided a registration for the suspect vehicle. On scene met with Walmart loss prevention who advised that she observed a male select merchandise and conceal it in the cargo pockets of his shorts.

Access Device Fraud-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 09/04/15 between the hours of 0900 and 1500 hours the victim reported that an unknown person used her bank debit card to charge $160.00 in merchandise without her permission.

Theft by Deception-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Road

On 9/8/2015 at 1659 hours, Police responded to Boscovs for a report of theft by deception that occured earlier on this date at 1037 am. The suspect who was a w/f, had returned to the store while Police were on scene and was identified by her PA Identification Card. It was found that the female had a bench warrant for a probation violation.  The female was transported to Central Booking for the warrant, with theft by deception charges to be filed.
