Over the weekend, STPD Officers responded to 39 incidents and investigated 3 crashes.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Warrant Service-2400 Block of East Market Street

On the above date and time an STPD Officer effected a traffic stop on a vehicle on E Market St in front of Taco Bell for an in operational driver’s side headlight.  It was determined that the operator of the vehicle had an outstanding arrest warrant.  He was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking.

Retail Theft- Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Police responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft. Upon arrival the complainant advised that she was holding an adult female for stealing merchandise. The female was cited and released without incident.

Police responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft. Upon  arrival  the complainant  advised that an unknown subject stole a television overnight.

Disorderly Conduct- Chuck E. Cheese, 2801 East Market Street

On 9/19/2015 at 1728 hrs, Police were called to Chuck E Cheese for a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, the General Manager advised that a female became very loud and belligerent inside and outside the business when asked to verify that the child leaving with her did not have a proper stamp. Further investigation.

Retail Theft- Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On the above date Police responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival it was determined that the actor stole $43.92 worth of items. She was  released on scene with misdemeanor charges pending.

Retail Theft- Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 9/19/2015 at 1945 hrs, Police responded to Walmart for a retail theft. Upon arrival, loss prevention had 2 females in custody for taking jewelry and clothing. One of the females had been previously trespassed and the other female had a small amount of marijuana on her person. Both the females were identified with charges to be filed.

Theft-3741 Stonybrook Drive

Responded to said location for a report of theft. Upon arrival  the victim reported that he had placed his property in the front of the residence along the sidewalk. He stated he left it unattended. On or about said time an unknown subject pulled up in front of the house and loaded the property into a Dodge Durango and departed. The victim estimated the value of the property at $170.00.

Retail Theft-Weis Market, 2400 East Market Street

Responded to Weis Market for a reported Retail Theft. Upon arrival  the Assistant Manager stated that on or about 1222hrs an unknown male entered the store, removed $606.72 worth of merchandise, seafood and alcohol, and departed without paying for the merchandise. He provided a copy of the security video and receipts for the merchandise taken.
