Daily Report- September 21st, 2015

On Monday September 21st, 2015 STPD Officers responded to 37 incidents and one burglar alarm.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Theft- A and R Rental, 1658 Whiteford Road

On the above date, this agency received a report of theft of leased property from A&R Rental, 1658 Whiteford Rd. The suspect rented equipment on 09/10/15 and has failed to return same. Total property lost is valued at $5851.94.

Criminal Mischief-326 Folkstone Way

Responded for a report of a break-in to a vehicle. Investigation revealed that unknown suspects entered the victim’s vehicle unlocked vehicle overnight, moving several items around but not stealing anything.

Theft-East York Veterinary Center-1997 Industrial Highway

Received a call from  the owner of East York Veterinary Center for a reported theft.  Investigation revealed that at least $6,000.00 is missing for the month of June. Suspect information was developed, and investigation continues at this time.

Hit and Run- Rte 30 at North Hills Road

Responded to the area of SR30 and North Hills Rd. for a hit and run report. Upon my arrival the victim advised that his vehicle was struck while traveling on SR30.

Theft-569 Paradise Road

On September 21st 2015 at 2333 hours Police responded to 569 Paradise Rd for a report of a theft from motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that someone stole approximately $5.00 from the victim’s vehicle.
