Over the weekend, STPD Officers responded to 47 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle crashes and responded to 7 false alarms.  In addition the following crimes were investigated.

Driving Under the Influence-East Market Street at the Township Line with Spring Garden

On October 3rd 2015 at approximately 0106 hours Police initiated a traffic stop on E Market St at the Township Line. The investigation revealed the operator was under the influence. The operator was taken into custody for DUI and transported to Central Booking for processing.

Driving Under the Influence-East Market Street at Mount Zion Road

Vehicle was stopped for a non functioning driver side head light. The operator was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for same.  The operator was transported to Central Booking.

Robbery-Barnharts Inn-3021 East Market Street

On October 3rd 2015 at approximately 0314 hours Police were dispatched to Barnhart’s Motel, 3021 E Market St York PA 17402 for a robbery report. The victim was assaulted and had $700 cash stolen from him. Investigation to follow.

Possession of Narcotics- 400 block of Memory Lane

On October 3rd 2015 at 0207 hours an STPD Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Sheetz, 405 Memory Ln. Investigation revealed that the vehicle contained illegal narcotics.

Retail Theft-Walmart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart for a retail theft. On arrival Walmart Loss Prevention, had a female in custody for removing $167.74 in merchandise from the store without paying.  She was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released.

Harassment-Sincerely Yours, 1600 Mount Zion Road

Responded for a report of a fight between two patients. Investigation revealed that one male patient struck another female patient in the face with his fist over a dispute regarding which channel they would watch on TV. Charges were declined by the victim.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 10/03/15 at 1425 hours Police responded to WalMart for a retail theft. Upon arrival information was obtained. Stolen and not recovered was 4 items offered for sale and valued at $29.24. The actor left in a blue in color BMW with Maryland registration.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 10/03/15 at 1649 hours Police responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft. Upon arrival information was obtained. Stolen and recovered was 10 items offered for sale and valued at $35.84. The female was issued a non-traffic citation and released to family without incident.

Narcotics Possession-East Market Street at Rockburn Street

On October 3rd 2015 at approximately 2332 hours an STPD officer initiated a traffic stop on E Market St at S Rockburn St. The investigation revealed the operator to be in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Charges to be filed.
