On Monday October 5th, 2015 STPD officers responded to 24 incident, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 5 false alarms. In addition, the following crimes were investigated.
Criminal Mischief-2683 Carnegie Road
Responded to 2683 Carnegie Rd. to remove a subject refusing to leave. On scene met with the complainant, Constable Barley. Barley advised that he was at the address to evict a resident from apartment 204. Barley advised that the resident damaged property in his presence and was refusing to leave the apartment complex property. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking.
Forgery of a Prescription-Sam’s Club, 2801 East Market Street
On October 5th 2015 at 1423 hours Police responded to Sam’s Club, 2801 E Market St, for a report of a fraudulent prescription. Investigation revealed that a subject attempted to use a fraudulent prescription to obtain medication. Charges to follow.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
Responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a retail theft. Upon my arrival the complainant advised that she was holding two adults for stealing merchandise. Both subjects were cited and released without incident.
