Over the Holiday weekend STPD officers responded to 59 incidents, investigated 5 crashes and responded to 4 alarms.  In addition the following crimes were investigated.

Possession of Marijuana-2700 Block of East Market Street

On October 10th 2015 at 0024 hours an STPD Officer conducted a traffic stop at 2700 E Market St. Investigation revealed that an occupant of the vehicle possessed marijuana.  Charges to follow.

Harassment-3205 East Market Street

On October 10, 2015 at 0158 hours Police were dispatched to Yorkshire Apartments, 3205 E Market St, for the report of a domestic. Investigation revealed that the complainant was struck in the face by her girlfriend.  Charges to follow.

Retail Theft-Wine and Spirits, 2547 East Market Street

Responded for a report of a retail theft where one male suspect stole two bottles of vodka and fled the store on foot. The male was located on Kent Rd and the stolen vodka was recovered. The male was cited for summary retail theft.

Driving Under the Influence-400 Block of Memory Lane

On October 11, 2015 at 0213 hours while on patrol in the area of Memory Ln at E Market St an STPD Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the parking lot of Sheetz, 405 Memory Ln. Investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance and was taken into custody for DUI.  Charges to follow.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart for a retail theft. Met with Walmart LP, who reported an unknown w/m pushed a cart of merchandise out of the store without making payment. Suspect left the area in a grey Honda.  Investigation to follow.

Retail Theft-BonTon, 2899 Whiteford Road

On 10/11/2015 at 1645 hrs, Police responded to the Bon-Ton for a retail theft. Upon arrival, it was found that a male took several cosmetic items from display with an unknown value at this time, concealed them into a white plastic Bon-Ton bag and walked to the customer service desk to return the merchandise for a gift card. The male was stopped at the service desk by loss prevention and he ran, pushing passed them and exited the building. Investigation continues.

Theft-45 North Marshal Street

On 10/11/2015 at 1834 hrs, Police responded to the area of 45 N Marshal St for a theft of a bike from a garage. Upon arrival, the suspects were observed in the area of Walmart. The suspects were taken into custody and identified. Charges to be filed.
