On Friday May 6th, 2016 STPD Officers handled 21 incidents, 3 motor vehicle accidents and responded to 2 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Driving Under the Influence-Haines Rd at Eastern Blvd
At 0206 hours a traffic stop was conducted on Haines Rd at Eastern Blvd. The investigation revealed the operator to be under the influence. The operator was arrested and transported to Central Booking for processing. A passenger in the vehicle also to be charged for destruction of evidence.
Disorderly Conduct-455 Sundale Rd
At 1505 hours an Officer responded to the York Suburban Middle School for the report of a fight between two students. The students’ parents were contacted and the investigation is ongoing.
Theft by Deception-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1755 hours an Officer was dispatched to Walmart for the report of a subject who had conducted a fraudulent return for $68.78. The subject was still on scene and was taken to Central Booking for charges.
