 On Saturday May 7th, 2016 STPD Officers handled 24 incidents, 2 motor vehicle accidents and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

 

Theft from a vehicle-Perkin’s, 2500 E Market St

At 0142 hours the victim advised that two purses were taken out of her vehicle while it was parked in the lot.  It is unknown how entry was made into the vehicle.  The purses contained several credit cards, identification cards, and WIC checks.

 

Criminal mischief to a vehicle-E Market St at Innovation Dr

At 2238 hours the victim reported that he was traveling on E Market St passing a large group of subjects walking along the roadway.  One of the subjects threw something at his vehicle as he passed, causing damage to the front fender.

 

Theft from a vehicle-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St

At 2347 hours an Officer responded to Fat Daddy’s to meet the victim for the report of a theft of a firearm.  The victim advised a handgun was stolen out of the console of his unlocked truck while it was parked in the lot.
