On Monday May 16th 2016, STPD Officers handled 40 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 118 Pleasant Acres Rd

At 1200 hours an Officer responded to the Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the report of a theft.  The victim is a resident who advised $71 in cash and assorted credit cards were taken from her room on 5/13/16.  Investigation to continue. 

Theft-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 1150 hours a student reported a theft of a bag from the girl’s locker room.  The total loss was $100.

Retail theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1450 hours a retail theft was reported at Boscov’s where the suspect fled before apprehension by loss prevention employees.  The suspect was a white male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and fled in a black Subaru.  The suspect took $300 worth of clothing and the investigation is ongoing.

Theft-York Suburban Middle School, 455 Sundale Dr

At 1820 hours the victim came to the station to report a theft that occurred at York Suburban Middle School earlier on this date.  The victim advised jewelry, lotion, and perfume valued at $140 were taken from her bags in the girl’s locker room while she was in class.  Investigation to continue.

Criminal mischief-Banana Max, 2650 Eastern Blvd

At 1930 hours the victim responded to the station to report criminal mischief to his vehicle that occurred at Banana Max on 5/14/16.  Suspect information was provided and follow up investigation will be completed.
