On Tuesday May 24th 2016, STPD Officers handled 35 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Forgery-Fulton Bank, 185 Memory Ln

At 1500 hours the victim came to the station to report unauthorized withdrawals from his checking account with Fulton Bank.  Investigation to continue.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1547 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft where the actor fled.  Employees advised the male left the store without paying for $25 worth of merchandise and fled when approached by loss prevention.  The male got into a silver Acura sedan and the tag number for the vehicle was obtained.  Further investigation is needed to identify the male.

Theft-3800 block of Oakleigh Dr

At 1700 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Oakleigh Dr for the report of a theft of an iPad valued at $800.  The victim advised the iPad was last seen on 5/17/16 and provided a possible suspect.  Investigation is ongoing.

Fugitive from justice-E Market St at I-83

At 2145 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of E Market St.  The driver was found to have a felony warrant out of Maryland.  The driver was taken into custody without incident and transported to Central Booking where he was charged as a fugitive from justice and will be held for extradition to Maryland.

Theft of services-Longhorn Steakhouse, 2901 Concord Rd

At 2110 hours Officers responded to the Longhorn Steakhouse for the report of a female who fled on foot without paying her bill of $61.  The female was later located and identified.  She was released with charges to be filed.
