On Tuesday July 19th STPD Officers handled 38 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Terroristic threats-Springettsbury Twp Police, 1501 Mt Zion Rd

At 0600 hours Officers began an investigation into terroristic threats made online.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft from vehicle-Ardmore Ln

At 0935 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Ardmore Ln for the report of a theft from a vehicle that occurred on 7/17/16 around 2000 hours.  Two actors were captured on video taking $5 in change from the victim’s vehicle.

Hit and run-JL Souser, 3495 Industrial Dr

At 1001 hours an Officer responded to JL Souser for the report of a hit and run that occurred on 7/18/16.   The victim advised he parked his vehicle in the lot while he was working and when he got off, he found his vehicle had been struck.  It appears that the striking vehicle was white in color.

Retail theft-Giant, 2415 E Market St

At 1113 hours an Officer responded to Giant for the report of a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female left the store without paying for $238 worth of merchandise.  She was released with charges to be filed.

Theft from vehicle-Allison Dr

At 1224 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Allison Dr for the report of a theft from a vehicle that occurred on this date between 1145 and 1215 hours.  The victim advised she left her purse in her unlocked vehicle in her driveway and it was stolen by an unknown actor.  The purse contained credit cards and cash and the total loss was $180.

Harassment-Parkview Rd

At 1950 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Parkview Rd for the report of harassment.  The victim advised her ex-boyfriend was harassing her with unwanted phone contact and by coming to her residence.  The subject was contacted and the investigation is ongoing.
