On Monday October 24th STPD Officers handled 31 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1110 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $23 worth of merchandise without paying.  The female was cited for summary retail theft and released.

Access device fraud-400 block of Quaker Dr

At 1230 hours the victim came to the station to report unauthorized purchases made with her bank card.  The victim advised an unknown person had made $240 worth of purchases at several businesses.  The investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief-Stonybrook Manor, 100 Pleasant Acres Rd

At 1434 hours an Officer responded to Stonybrook Manor for the report of criminal mischief.  The victim advised someone has been tampering with her walker when it is left in a common area of the building.  She provided the name of a suspect and the investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Dick’s Sporting Goods, 2925 Concord Rd

At 1453 hours an Officer responded to Dick’s Sporting Goods for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier on this date.  An employee advised a female had taken $469 worth of merchandise without paying.  The female fled from employees and left the parking lot in a red Toyota Camry.

Retail theft-K Mart, 1094 Haines Rd

At 1520 hours an Officer responded to K Mart for the report of a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised a female had taken $31 worth of merchandise and left the area in a maroon sedan.

Harassment/Criminal mischief-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1929 hours Officers responded to the Village East Apartments for the report of a physical domestic.  Investigation revealed a juvenile had gotten into a physical altercation with family members and then damaged some property.  The juvenile was cited for harassment and criminal mischief and released.

Disorderly conduct/Possession of drug paraphernalia-1300 block of Memory Ln Ext

At 2020 hours Officers responded to an apartment on Memory Ln Ext for the report of a domestic.  Officers took a juvenile in custody for disorderly conduct and found drug paraphernalia on his person during a search.  He was released to a guardian with charges to be filed.
